Long Live Quaid-e-Azam is the subtitle of the Pakistani action comedy movie Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, which was released in 2022 and was written by Fizza Ali Meerza and Nabeel Qureshi. It was also directed by Qureshi and produced by Ali and Meerza under the Filmwala Pictures brand. In addition to Nayyar Ejaz and Mehmood Aslam, the ensemble cast of the movie includes Fahad Mustafa, Javed Sheikh, and Mahira Khan.

Prior to the lockdown limitations brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic, the filming was finished. 2020 saw the completion of post-production. The movie, which was released by Hum Films and Eveready Pictures on Eid al-Adha, July 8, 2022, following a two-year delay, debuted to mixed reviews from reviewers.

Plot:

Inspector Gulab, who works for Rana, a dishonest politician who keeps a lion at his residence and fights crime in Karachi, asks D.I.G. Babar to halt his advancement so he may continue collecting bribes beneath him. Gulab runs across Jia one day while on duty; Jia's phone was stolen when she was saving animals. In an effort to get closer to her, he retrieves her smartphone as he develops feelings for her. He then starts gifting her various creatures for her animal sanctuary, but he loses control of her hamster and doesn't appear to be interested in stroking them.

The VIPs who have generously given Gulab bribes continue to intimidate regular street vendors, and Gulab even threatens to have some of them leave the area. The majority of the bribe money is held in a hidden vault at Rana's house, but Gulab also retains part of it. Later, when Gulab's father Munir learns that his son keeps the bribes he collects in his home in secret, Munir, who had taught his son 20 years earlier to respect Muhammad Ali Jinnah, dies in agony at the realization that even his son had disregarded the lesson he had taught him and had started to follow the corrupt ones. While grieving Gulab, he continues to disregard the fact that his father reared him on Halal income since he preferred his own wishes to those of his father. As a result, he discovers that Jinnah's images are removed from Pakistani rupee notes, which his assistant pointed out to him.

When Jia finds out about Gulab's actions, he becomes enraged, but Gulab then sees all of his errors and changes for the better. He follows the list of individuals his staff has created and returns the money with an apologetic message. He misbehaves with a peddler and openly beats a cop, which causes scandal. He also suggests that Babar and Rana urge Jinnah to apologize at Mazar-e-Quaid, but Rana declines and instead asks the parliament to pass a law that would either fully remove Jinnah's image from currency notes or switch to using US dollars. Numerous public demonstrations were launched against this behavior as well as Jia's ownership of a wild animal on his own land.

As Gulab soon reveals the bribes obtained, he seeks to obtain warrants against Rana. He enters instead in response to Jia's protest, and the lion is then given to the police so that they may transport it securely to the forest. While Gulab drowns in Karachi's Clifton Beach with the private jet, Rana attempts to flee by setting his home on fire and informing Babar. However, Gulab manages to recover all of Rana's money from his private jet and distribute it to the city's commoners after receiving a command from Babar, who also recognizes his true duty. The police divert Rana, who is then apprehended and imprisoned. Gulab, who has been resurrected, then shows up to smack Rana for his unscrupulous actions.

Gulab, thinking that his father, Munir, and the Father of the Nation, Jinnah, are now satisfied with his deeds, sees Jinnah's picture return on his salary, which he receives for the first time in a while, as he escapes from this case. He accepts the promotion, and using the money from his pay, he and Jia declare their love for one another and make an engagement proposal.
